Top Accolade for Offa's Dyke

5th November 2012

Travel Guide Lonely Planet has named Offa's Dyke as one of the world's ten "greatest wall walks" in their new guide "Best in Travel 2013" published last month.

Offa's Dyke, which runs along the Powys/Shropshire border, has joined other greats on the list, including the Great Wall of China, the 17th century walls of Quebec City, the Berlin Wall and Hadrian's Wall.

If you don’t fancy walking the whole length of this 177mile National Trail, there are 2 sections of the Offa's Dyke National Trail in Shropshire and circular walks have been devised for them.
