Fireworks Extravaganza at Blists Hill Victorian Town Blists Hill Victorian Town in the Ironbridge Gorge, Shropshire will open its doors from 6pm on the evening of Saturday, 3rd November for a spectacular fireworks extravaganza.

Go along and see the town’s streets as they would have been in the 19th century; the shops, cottages and workshops will be open and you can talk to the ‘resident’ Victorians, dressed in the costume of the day. You will also be able to watch the dramatic demonstrations of iron casting in the foundry and iron-rolling in one of the last working iron-rolling mills in the world.

This year’s fireworks extravaganza will be best viewed from the Village Green; as always there will be a brilliant display over the Ironbridge Gorge starting at around 7.30pm, for all to enjoy.

Tickets must be purchased in advance from the entrance shop at Blists Hill or the Ironbridge Visitor Information Centre priced at £9.50 adults, £6.25 children aged 3 - 15 years and £29 family (two adults and two children). A joint family ticket for Fireworks Night and the Ghostly Gaslight Halloween event at Blists Hill on 27th October is just £52 (two adults and two children).

There is limited parking at Blists Hill Victorian Town, with priority given to Blue Badge holders. A shuttle service will be operating from the new Ironbridge Park and Ride car park, located at the top of Jiggers Bank. There is a cost of £1 per adult and 50p per child for a return journey. All under 16s must be accompanied by an adult, tickets will not be available on the gate and Ironbridge Gorge Museum Passports are not valid for this evening; dogs will not be allowed.
