BUILDING A NEW STORY AT WROXETER ROMAN CITY

Tinsel Tuesdays in Ludlow

Ludlow promises to pack a punch for shoppers this December with a wholly new Christmas concept coined Tinsel Tuesdays. For every Tuesday in December the town will be offering free parking in all car parks between 2 and 6pm, courtesy of Shropshire Council and a new Christmas Gift Market that promises shoppers something a bit special. Business Enterprise Fund Grants for Tourism Start-Ups and Established Businesses

Following the improvements we have made visits to the site, the number of visits has more than doubled from 2011 to 2012, with the website receiving 3,644 from 1st Oct to 30th Nov 2011, compared to 7,877 from 1st Oct to 30th Nov 2012. With a bounce rate of 44% and with 83% of the visits to the site from new visitors. We average 70 electronic brochure requests per month and the highest months were  August with 94 and April with 90. It will be a useful indicator of the interest generated by the area and our website and to see how these change over the coming months.
