Missing link between dinosaurs and birds explained at Shrewsbury Museum & Art Gallery

Dinosaurs have been enjoyed on the big screen recently, with hit film "Jurassic World" breaking box office records. Now, on Saturday 18 July 2015, Shrewsbury Museum & Art Gallery is to open a new exhibition "Archaeopteryx - the missing link between dinosaurs and birds", exploring how some of these powerful creatures evolved.

The award winning Shropshire Hills Discovery Centre will offer a welcome break to 100 cyclists this Saturday 6th June, as they stop off at the Discovery Centre in Craven Arms for refreshments, bananas and homemade cakes during a 100 mile charity cycle ride from Worcester to Aberdovey. It is also the same day as the Craven Arms Farmers Market so the team at the Discovery Centre are hoping for lots of visitors.
